Clean aim starts before anyone steps into view. In matches shaped by tighter weapon response, CoD 23 Boosting discussions often come back to the same basic truth: the player whose crosshair is already in the right place usually gets the first useful shot. Don't stare at the middle of a doorway and hope to correct later. Pick the point where a shoulder, head, or upper chest is likely to appear. It feels small at first, but it saves those split seconds that decide close fights.

Build a Head-Level Habit

Most players lose accuracy before they even fire because their aim is resting at the floor, a wall, or empty sky. Keep it around head height as you move through common routes. That doesn't mean locking into one fixed line all match. A low box, a staircase, and a raised platform all change the expected target height. You'll notice the difference quickly when an opponent crosses your screen and your only job is a short adjustment, not a huge upward pull. It's less flashy, sure, but it wins fights.

Listen Before You Peek

Footsteps give pre-aiming real purpose. If you hear someone sprinting through the room next door, turn toward the doorway before they arrive. If the sound slows down, they may be lining up their own peek, so don't keep drifting into open space. Hold a sensible angle and wait a beat. Audio isn't perfect, and players can change direction, but it narrows the possibilities. That's enough. You're not trying to predict every move; you're trying to avoid being caught with your aim pointed somewhere pointless.

Read the Angle, Not Just the Route

A common mistake is holding too close to the edge of cover. When somebody swings wide, your crosshair has to travel farther than expected. Give the angle a little room if you think they'll move fast. On the other hand, hold tighter when there's only a narrow opening or when an opponent is likely to shoulder-peek. Your stance matters too. Crouching behind low cover changes what you can see and where an enemy will expect your head. Mix that with smart positioning, and you become much harder to catch off guard.

Make It Part of Every Rotation

Good pre-aim isn't something you switch on only near a busy lane. Use it while entering rooms, clearing stairs, and rotating toward objectives. If you're looking to cheap CoD MW4 Boosting as part of improving your match results, pair that goal with repeatable habits like this. Review the spots where you keep losing first contact, then practise holding a better line there next match. Over time, your crosshair will arrive first without you having to think about it.
